Photos
BoyBye can’t see my photos
BoyBye needs access to your photos to show and delete them. On iPhone, open Settings, then Apps, then BoyBye, then Photos, and choose Full Access. On Android, open Settings, then Apps, then BoyBye, then Permissions, then Photos and videos, and allow access.
Some photos can’t be added
If you’ve shared only some photos with BoyBye, it can see and delete just those. Tap Add photos on the picker to share more, or allow access to all photos in Settings.
I deleted the wrong photos
On iPhone, deleted photos stay in the Recently Deleted album for 30 days. Open Photos, then Albums, then Recently Deleted, select them and tap Recover. On Android 11 and later, BoyBye deletes photos permanently, but if Google Photos backed them up, you may still find them there.
His photos are still somewhere else
BoyBye deletes the photos on your phone. On iPhone they stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days, and Settings in BoyBye shows how to empty it. If you use iCloud Photos, deleting them also removes them from your other devices. Copies in Google Photos, shared albums, messages or other apps aren’t touched, so delete those there.
Videos
Where’s my breakup video?
Save it or share it from the screen that appears after his photos are destroyed. Once you leave that screen, any video you didn’t save is erased, and BoyBye can’t get it back.
BoyBye Pro
I subscribed but don’t have Pro
Open Settings in BoyBye and tap Restore purchase. Make sure your phone is signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with. The same steps bring Pro back on a new phone.
Cancel or change BoyBye Pro
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel your subscription.
- iPhone: in BoyBye, tap Manage subscription in Settings, or follow Apple’s steps to cancel a subscription.
- Android: in BoyBye, tap Manage subscription in Settings, or follow Google’s steps to cancel a subscription.
Refunds
Apple and Google handle payments, so refunds are requested from them. On iPhone, use reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, see Google Play’s refund policies.
Privacy
BoyBye has no account and no servers, and your photos never leave your phone. Read the BoyBye Privacy Policy for the details.
